PHP Advanced for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickPro Guide-->Contact the Author
Any and all correspondence is welcome at ![]()
Larry Ullman does try to respond to every e-mail received within 7-10 business days, assuming he is not traveling. If your query requires a more immediate response, check the appropriate manual, use a newsgroup, use the book's online forum, or do a search on Google. Please understand that Larry cannot give specific and detailed assistance to every reader that writes (in other words, don't ask him to write a script for you, debug one you're working on, or otherwise do your job). Also note that Larry will probably not be able to give you a good, satisfactory answer unless you provide all of the relevant details. This includes:
- what book you are using (name and edition)
- what script(s) you are referring to
- your operating system, development tools, etc.
- the versions of the relevant software
- a thorough description of the problem, including any error messages
- etc. etc.
This site will be an ever-evolving entity so if there is something you would like included, do not hesitate to ask. Also feel free to:
- Point out problems with the scripts.
- Ask questions about the book, the author, DMC Insights, Inc., or the technology.
- Give any feedback, good or bad, about a book or this site.
- Make suggestions of links and resources which should be listed.
- See if Larry Ullman/DMC Insights, Inc. is available for projects.
Errors found within the text or scripts can be pointed out using the form on the errata page.
