This site is specifically for the book's first edition, published in April 2001. The second edition was published in February 2004. Adobe AIR: VQS Chapter Available Online

Peachpit Press, has posted part of Chapter 2, "Creating an Application," from the book "Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) with Ajax: Visual QuickStart Guide" on their Web site.
