Welcome to the companion Web site for the First Edition of the book PHP Advanced: Visual QuickPro Guide, written by Larry Ullman and published by Peachpit Press. This edition was published in December 2001. The Second Edition was published in February 2007 and is titled PHP 5 Advanced: Visual QuickPro Guide. If you are using the second edition of the book, you should go to that Web site.
This site is intended to augment the information presented in the book, as well as to correct any errors that may be present. Adobe AIR: VQS Chapter Available Online
Peachpit Press, has posted part of Chapter 2, "Creating an Application," from the book "Adobe AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) with Ajax: Visual QuickStart Guide" on their Web site.
